This article is written by my freind, he learn LNG 103. It is about thai education. I think some of its is real, i agree with it in some reason. The article is below.

Thai education is getting worse
was changed to child center education. In 2005 the examination system
was changed to an admission system. People who changed it claimed that it
would be better. But, in my opinion, Thai education is getting worse.
The first reason is that the education at present teaches students to
learn a lot of knowledge. But knowledge that is necessary to profession is
scanty. Thai curriculum is heavier than other countries curriculum. But
Thailand's development cannot be compared with the international standard
because educational institutions focus too much on remembering
information rather than developing thinking skills.
The second reason is that examination to the university is not effective
because the examination to the university is the test that put emphasis on
remembering skills rather than thinking skills. For instance, in other countries
examinations emphasize thinking skills in English language but, in Thai, the
English language examinations emphasize remembering grammar and
vocabulary. Therefore, this method is not matching the purpose of
examination. Also, the exam in each year is not of the same standard.
Sometimes some sections are too easy whereas the following years are too
hard. So it is not fair.
The last reason is that educational cost is very high. The government
has a policy to expand education as soon as possible. But the expense is
high and it is increasing. So many schools open English programs to get
more fee. There is also a high rate of corruption in the ministry of education.
This makes the country lose a lot of budget that could be used to develop
Thai education.
In conclusion, I think Thai education at present is getting worse for
many reasons. I wish someone would fix it, someone who really wants to
develop Thai education. I want to see Thailand became a leading country.

My first blood donation
Today is 18 Febuary there is a activity at the first floor of CB4 Building. It is blood donation from Sirirach Hospital. My friend invite me to donate my blood and I accept so this is my first time. I heard that before donate the blood we should sleep enough, eat food and if it is the first time, most people frequently confused, numb and Faint. It is my first time,I have slept only 3-4 hours for many night and I haven't eatten since yester day dinner. First time I think maybe i can't donate but i lie so, i can donate but i have to eat before. After I have finished the donation, myy feeling is doesn't like the thing taht i heard. I do not feel anything, i'm still freshy haha.
In the evening, there is International food fair. I and my friends join it and we get a lot of prizes from many activities. Then we go to 11 floor of new building for relax before we back home.

The shadows are just as important as the light
Every thing is importance, just that how do you know about its value. If you need it, it is valuable and necessary for you. But if it is not necessary or you do not want it, it will be useless. But in fact, everything has equal value up to user and how to use them. For example, diamond and rice. If we talk about the price, it should be diamond. but if we are in the forest, we can not find any its value. On the other hand of rice, although it is worthless but it make us full and still alive. So you have to think that everything has equal value but which one has more valueable is up to situation.
What is the day today...
After I was busy for a long time because of many things. For example the presentation of English subject, many many of assignments from Data Structure subject and many many many of problems ?I had. Finally, I'm free haha. So it time to update my blog after I didn't update it for a long time. After I have finished this blog, I will be going to update the old that i had finish it but I haven't yet post it and a new one that I am going to write it.
Today is the 2 March can you remember what it is I will tell you. Today is the day that we have an English examination!!!! and now what I am doing, updating blog, playing games, chatting with my friends etc. ohh my life, it is so crazy but don't serious just chill out haha. It is onlyy 9 hours left, we will have an examination. So I wish that all of my friends will get a good grade, get A everyone. Huhu good luck myy friends.

Reflection
I have just known that first article of my blog should be "Reflextion". First time, I thought it can be any thing I wanna but it's wrong, so I will write it now ^^.
I think this English class has a good teacher. He dedicate for this class so much. He has tried to find many new things to teach us. Many students in this class are friendly but we aren't well known to each other. I think before the last class, we should know each other better.

My English Learnning
this article is the first one that the teacher counts from 6 that he gave. he gave so many but it is not matter if i grumble, so i'll write it now.when i witten my blog generally i write it in thai before then i will translate it in to english, this time is too. this time i write about my english learning.
if i want to tell u, i have to tell since i was grade 4. in that time my english is very bad. when i was grade 5 i had change school into Sarasas Patthana school, i was learning in bilingual programme but it was not quite good , i had not learn with foreigners as much as i should be. After that i learnt at Sarasas Pitthaya school in grade. Hear i completely learnt with foreigners, i learnt every subject in English. After the semester, i realize that i could speak or contact with foreingers very smoothly. When i learnt grade 7, i moved into Suankularb Witthayalai School. At this school, i rarely learnt with foreigners, even it had, it was only little. Moreover, iwas not read any book(after i learnt at Suankularb), so my English skill was worse and worse. In grade 7, i went back to old school, i was still speaking with foreigners. In grade 8, it was okey, but sometimes they had to repeat it again and again. Until i was grade 9, i came back to old school again but i could not speak or listen in English, i had to asked them for Thai language!!! or requested some help from my friends. After that i did not back to my old school again, and i think that my English was getting worse and worse every year. i read book again when i was early in the University, i read it until my English was okey, then i stopped and did not use it Frequently, thus it got worse a bit and it is now.
this is about my English learning and i think that in the future i have to read more books for getting better. if it is possible, i would like to contact or communicate with foreigner as much as possible(use it every day). and i think if u want to good in English, the best thing that help u is contacting with foriegner as frequently as u can, it will be accustoming and developing ur English skill very quickly.

New Year 2010
This is the firrst New Year's holiday that I did not go to anywhere. Every year I must have a trip to go to countryside but this year was not, I stayed at home all the holiday, countdown in front of my notebook in a game, slept for the most day - -. It was the most worthless holiday. Do you know Why I have to stayed at home. It's because my grandmother was sick, she couldn't goes anywhere. Every year she goes with us, so if we left her alone at home, she might be hurt. We didn't want her to feel like that, so all of us stayed home with her, we are very grateful haha. It was pass don't mention it -*-+.
This year I want to be better. I will read book(change from never read), have enough sleep, learn more things, do more usetage things and emphasize with people around me. Last, I wish the god bless you(readers and my friends) to be healthy, wealthy, successful and happy all the year. Happy New Year 2010 Krab.
